I came to Dr. van Holsbeeck’s practice, DTI Detroit, through my physician after months of dealing with a persistent and painful trapped nerve. From the first appointment, I felt confident in his expertise. He used ultrasound imaging to closely examine the area and was the first physician to provide a clear and accurate diagnosis. I received other injections elsewhere, in attempts to stop the pain, that brought little to no relief, so I was growing frustrated and discouraged. After my 69-year-old husband suffered a fall and injured his left shoulder—he heard a “snap, crackle, and pop” on impact—we were very concerned due to his history of rotator cuff and bicep tendon repair surgeries. He reached out to his prior surgeon at U of M, who ordered an MRI—but the soonest appointment was three weeks out.

Beyond the excellent care, the staff at DTI was incredibly kind, helpful, and professional—and the cost was considerably less than the MRI quote at U of M.

You all are THE BEST!!!! Thanks so much for getting me in so quickly and getting this info back to me!. It's been a year of hell for me with a lot of intense pain and little sleep since my surgery and though I'm not happy about all the issues that were uncovered thru the U/S, at least I know there are structural/mechanical issues that may be contributing to my poor recovery. Knowing that at least gives me some hope that there may be something, someone might be able to do to help get me back to a better quality of life.

I only wish these types of diagnostics were done prior to agreeing to the 10 surgeries that were completed on my feet but I can tell you one thing, I will never go down this road again without them. The service you provide is invaluable and makes a difference in patient's lives. Thank you!

Before we get to my appointment I want to recognize Annabel, who made my appointment. I called her back and forth three times and she was so friendly, patient and helpful that I knew I would love this office! I saw Dr. Van Holsbeeck (Lodewijk) for an ultrasound and it's an understatement to say how amazing he was! He was just as nice, friendly and professional as Annabel!! Once the ultrasound was done he explained to me in great detail what the results were and made sure I understood everything before I left the office. I can't recommend this office highly enough!

Dr. Marnix van Holsbeeck is excellent - diagnostic imaging was fast and thorough and a subsequent injection was also fast and painless (literally - minimal discomfort from the local numbing needle and I felt nothing else after that).
